Beta recruitment privacy
Travel Via Clara uses this form to review applications for a small English/Spanish travel beta and to contact potential participants. Applying is not acceptance, app access or a marketing subscription.
What we collect
Your name, email, native language, phone operating system, optional device model, intended use, session availability, feedback willingness and recruitment consent. We also keep the submission time, consent version, website language and manual review status. We do not ask for a phone number, address, passport, itinerary or payment information.
How it is used and who sees it
Only authorised Travel Via Clara recruitment reviewers may use applicant records. Cloudflare hosts the website and private database and provides the Turnstile anti-bot check. Turnstile and hosting may process technical connection information to secure the service. We do not publish or sell applications, use screening answers for advertising, or automatically create app accounts. Only a separate optional launch-email opt-in permits promotional contact. Recruitment emails use our existing Migadu mailbox, hello@travelviaclara.com.
Manual selection and waitlist
We aim for 15 native English and 15 native Spanish participants. We consider device compatibility, intended use, two short sessions weekly and willingness to give feedback. A reviewer makes each decision. An application may stay awaiting review, be waitlisted, selected or declined. Invitations and app access are handled separately.
Duplicates and corrections
One application is kept per email address. Resubmitting does not overwrite the original or reserve another place. To correct or withdraw it, email hello@travelviaclara.com from your application address. We may need to verify your request before acting.
Retention
Applications expire from active recruitment use after 90 days and are removed by daily cleanup, normally within the following day. Selecting someone does not extend that period; any later testing participation uses a separate agreement. Cloudflare recovery copies may retain deleted records for an additional 7–30 days depending on the service plan. Recovery must respect withdrawals and retention limits. Reviewers should avoid downloading extra copies.
Your choices and contact
The consent is only for recruitment and its waitlist. You can withdraw or ask to access, correct or delete your recruitment information by contacting hello@travelviaclara.com. Withdrawing will end consideration through this application.

Optional launch news and offers
The launch-email checkbox is optional and unchecked. Applying, admission or rejection does not imply marketing consent. If you choose it, a separate private contact table keeps only your name, email, native language, consent version and time, source, and expiry. Screening answers are never copied to it. The retention limit is up to 12 months (365 days) from your latest explicit opt-in. Recruitment deletion after 90 days does not delete an independently consented, unexpired contact; nonconsenting applicants never enter this list.
Unsubscribe at any time by emailing hello@travelviaclara.com from that address, with “unsubscribe” in the subject. This removes the launch contact independently of your application. Ask to withdraw your application separately, or ask to remove both. Any future promotional email must repeat this simple unsubscribe route; no campaign has been enabled. Submitting another application without ticking the optional box does not revoke an earlier separate opt-in.
Security, operator and contact
For this endpoint, a short-lived keyed rate counter uses the Cloudflare-provided connection IP without storing that IP. Counter windows are one minute, expire after one hour and are removed on the next submission or daily cleanup. Raw form bodies and identifiers are not logged by application code. Cloudflare may process technical connection information.
